Police Station Accredited Representative;-

The successful candidate will advise and attend clients at police stations in the locality, manage a varied caseload and assist Mr Watson with more complex matters at magistrates court and crown court levels.  Ultimately there could also be an opportunity to undertake Magistrates Court work if the successful applicant were sufficiently qualified or willing to undertake such qualification. 

You must be a PSAR with a minimum of 12 months` solid experience within criminal defence work.

You will be a Paralegal, Legal Executive or Solicitor. You must be organised and able to work on your own initiative, and should expect to be called out to police stations and take client calls out of hours.

Experience in the use of Meridian Solpak case management software and knowledge of the Special Quality Mark and Legal Services Commission contract requirements would be an advantage. 

Candidates are preferred to have GCSE Grade C English or equivalent.

Salary dependent on experience.

Part-time Legal Secretary (Temporary) – Family Law;-

The successful applicant will work mainly in the areas of Family and Child Law. Experience in this role essential.

Tasks will involve audio typing, photocopying, making/answering telephone calls, use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, case file management, file costing, billing and other usual tasks in this role.

Candidates are preferred to have GCSE Grade C English or equivalent.

The role will continue on a 2-day week job share basis (Thursday and Friday, 9am to 5pm)until February 2014. Thereafter the role may become permanent and hours could be increased if the successful applicant so wished.
