Matrimonial Finances fees
Our competitive hourly rates are charged at £200 ex VAT (£240 inc VAT) for the work of Rebecca Jackson, our Matrimonial Finances Solicitor who qualified in 2008. Your case will be assessed during your initial telephone consultation and we will provide you with an estimate of the likely costs. We then bill your case on a monthly basis, allowing you to spread the cost of your Financial case.
The CostOur Divorce Solicitor's fixed fee for Petitioner cases is £750 ex VAT (900 inc VAT), and the Respondent case is £375 ex VAT (450 inc VAT). There is also a divorce petition filing fee of £550 for the Petitioner, and our solicitors will advise whether you qualify financially for the Court's exemption or reduced court fee. For more complex divorce cases, or for Financial or Children matters, our Matrimonial lawyers charge an hourly rate of £200 ex VAT (£240 inc VAT).
We can also advise you on how to apply for partial discount or exemption from court fees, if you are assessed as eligible (currently £550 to file a divorce petition).
