Our Middlesbrough Solicitor explains;-
If you have a solicitor acting for you then your solicitor will present your case, but sometimes the judge might speak to you directly or even ask you questions. The majority of the work will however be done by your legal representative.
It is only if a case goes to a final hearing that you will be expected to speak in court and give evidence. You will be asked questions by your solicitor and the solicitor for the other party. Before any hearing your solicitor will explain to you the full court process and prepare a statement for you to make it easier to present your case to the Judge.
