Pam Kandola joined the firm in May 2015 and is the Head of the Family Department. Pam is also a Member of the Law Society Children Panel and member of Resolution.
Pam manages a team of Family Law specialists dealing with all matters including divorce, financial matters, private law children matters, public law children matters (involving social services), honour based violence, forced marriages and female genital mutilation.
Pam has a keen interest in local causes and has provided training sessions for kinship carer groups and the local Regional Refugee Forum.

Criminal Defence Solicitor
Ross was admitted as Solicitor 02/01/2019. He has been with PJW since August 2020. Ross is on the Duty Solicitor Panel and also deals will all aspects of criminal law at the police station, Magistrates Courts and as Litigator in the Crown Courts.
Lauren has been with the firm since June 2022 and is a Trainee Solicitor in the Crime Department.
Lauren primarily deals with Crown Court and Police Station work and is Police Station Accredited, providing representation to clients during police interviews and assisting Counsel with various Crown Court hearings.
Lauren was recently awarded the title of ‘Trainee Solicitor of the Year’ at the 2025 Northern Law Awards
Naila joined the firm as a Legal Secretary in July 2024 and works primarily in the Family Department whilst also assisting in the Criminal Department.
Naila joined us following working as a clerk in a Barrister’s Chambers after graduating university with a Law degree
